My MIL gets herself in all sorts of trouble with her LOL's. She gets all confused about 'Laughing out Loud'
I have a bit of problem with this as it was originally "lots of laughter". Which means it's now used for a bit of a giggle rather than something really funny. So people now put "lol" for something marginally amusing (as in a smile) when it used to mean more.

Can't stand text speak and tend to stop reading posts that are full of it as I find it a pretty lazy way to write. As somebody has already said, you can type as much as you want without it costing more (unlike texts) and it doesn't seem unreasonable to try and write properly with at least an attempt at proper spelling and punctuation. Don't expect it to be perfect but to me, it's really a matter of manners - know this makes me sound an old fogey but sometimes I am!
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Try this one then!
