We've recently aquired a pressure canner, and now that the tomatoes are starting to crop, the onions are ready, and my basil's big enough to crop, I'm ready to concoct my own (nicer!) version of Dolmio
But before I start, I need to know what altitude I'm at, to calculate how long to hold the pressure for. Where can I find out that information? I asked my eldest son, thinking this is something he might have learnt in Geography, but it seems not...! I've looked on our Ordnance Survey map, and in an Atlas, but it only says how high the nearest hill is
