The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

oh jane how awful, on many occasion i have been called "fat", which of course i am!! lol!! but i dont care and have had 3 kids to prove why i am said "fat" lol!!
i have suffered this abuse over the years, i worked as a barmaid for 6 years, and do you know what i say!
"yes i am fat, but you are extremely rude and ugly and no amount of skinniness can bye charm, charisma and a personality!!!!"
and if all else fails i then add "i would like to pull your head off and SH1T down your neck" lol lol !!!
dont let them get to you or those around you, karma will come back and bite them on the bum!!
hope you feel better and hope they soon get fed up where they are and move on somewhere else so that you and your friends can drink in peace x

Thanks all, interesting comments. Yes, they are of the travelling persuasion. Although now settled permanantly in our town. I can't be anti as my own great-grandmother was a p*k**.
They are in their 30's so deffo old enough to be in the pub. Not on "pubwatch" but would make no difference if they were. They are seriously dangerous, and the police are ignoring the calls for help."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
"It is neccessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live" (also Alexandre Dumas)

How Horrible JanieB. But live your own life the best way you can. Don't ever let people like that influence what you do.
I'm sure you miss your husband desperately. I don't think there is a cure for that. But you have your children and grandchildren and your work and interests.
Take what pleasure you can from that and ignore the flotsam and jetsom. They are no part of your life.
I do hope you can find some solace and things go better for you.
Night, night. Alice. X

Surley as a councillor you have some persuasion with the police about this, if only a chat with the cheif constable or whatever he is, ask why is it that when they are called why did they not come in and see what was going on.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache
