It's Cowes week, been my 30 year dream to sail Cowes week 'sigh'
We went on saturday, just to watch - mixed emotions happy to be there, sad not be be OUT there!
Mr HF races on saturday, I am soooo excited for him but,
sigh........
just wish I could go with him. His company have hired a boat so it's a staff only rule! sigh.
I just know I gonna be a sad muppet all week.
sigh!
help me through the week and weekend please!

bless, Headfry, just think while he is racing you can sit with a bottle of bubbly ready for him to come back, but half drunk by you of course!

I worked for Whitbread and they used to have teams competing every year, not for me i would be sick as a dog, no sea legs here!

I'd be rubbish at sailing as I'd either forget to duck as the boom came flying accross, or I'd simply just not be able to duck far enough!

Did you know "Sailing" by Rod Stewart was at No1 when I was born? I've always quite liked messing about in boats - I love the idea of a narrowboat holiday, but again, size is against me.

Sometimes it just ain't meant to be.

Expensive too innit? Sailing that is...
