Leave the spider be. She might have a million kids to look after in a corner, somewhere. Imagine her distress if you package her up and send her somewhere 'foreign'!

I have two employed spiders in my downstairs bathroom. One has strange tastes and doesn't eat fly bodies - just the wings and legs! S/he lives on the windowsill and has a cosy hole in the frame, for when I'm showering. The other is much bigger and lives in a multi-storey web between the loo bowl and the wall. Tis a big risk for the spider, if you ask me, but it's been there for weeks, so I guess is happy!

I think they're cute. They're all called Boris, too.

Lynda - if you spray it with hairspray it will go all crunchy and curl up and R I P. Plus you can stay reasonably far away from them this way if no-one dares go near it.

waits for the accusations / shouts / RSPCA to come crashing down upon her head and or bursting through the door......

I can't help it I've had therapy TWICE and I am still terrified.

This is a really new and cool reception area why so many bugs?
              Always putting bugs out!

Maybe his girlfriend came in during the night, had her wicked way with him and ate him for breakfast? Then had a cup of tea and a cigarette?
