      Err, Ok I've e-mailed them!
Hubbies fault. He made me do it, he said that just being the weird family in the village isn't enough, we have to be seen as the weird family in the county!

Get some local scones in, they'll be putty in your hand.

Good luck both, I wouldn't do it as I'd feel a fraud.

I've been on tv before, teaching a couple of tv chefs how to drive off road, was great fun. My 15 minutes or so of fame. That was fine and didn't mind it because I knew what I was talking about. I've had a lucky year veg wise this year but it's still only my first

I've just rung them lol! Only just noticed the announcement by Ben! Not for my garden but the school garden. Very nice lady and it might be a possibility, who knows, worth a try. They wanted younger people, will 5 years old and upwards do? Just a thought as it might inspire other schools and kids to have a go, getting kids into gardening, wildlife etc instead of sat in front of the tv. We need gardeners of the future to carry on our good work and show people how you can engage a child's interest in it. Will let you know if I hear anything!

yup, public transport is rubbish and i don't have a car.... i just thought when you saw her she would be right up your street (usually tied to a lamp post, with a red light above her ) i just seen you'r message, i was gonna say i'd bring her with me, but now you've blown it, she's staying in the garden.

Good luck everybody, its all very exciting.

Its interesting that as a BBC production they have not posted this appeal on the BBC boards. I think it must be because they are all a miserable bunch of old ****.

" oooo what colour is your hair - did you dye it" - so me said "oh no its natural" lol - that shut her up!!!!

must say that I would do TV - a clairvoyant once told me I would be on TV (but then i fell off) - if I was more experienced in gardening I would do it, also if I was 5 stone lighter and far younger - then one day Brad Pitt would be watching and he would ditch Angelina and .....................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (in my dreams)
