i'm still in my dressing gown, it's not 12 yet lol, i have nothing to do today,i weeded everywhere the other day, and the garden is getting nicely watered, despite the fact i spent an hour watering it yesterday, so the only thing to do in the garden now is to trim the hedge, and mow the lawns .... which i'm really sad that i can't do them in the rain.
though i should make bread, cakes and gallons of tomato soup, cos i went to asda at midnight (so much less hassle than during the day, well except for the fact that i had a trolley full (its my 3 monthly stock up on essentials month) and at the checkout it refused my card ..... and i was at the only open checkout and and they all looked really annoyed ...... i knew the money was there, so i had to go to the cash machine to get cash out ...... lots of disgruntled shoppers lol. so i'm gonna finish my brew, then i might get dressed in an hour or so, cos i'm a lazy cow

Got up this morning to brilliant sunshine.

Walked the dog and still not bad out.

Came home did a few bits and pieces around the house.

Loaded up the kitchen waste for the compost bin and set off to the allotments.

Unloaded and a few spots of rain.

Decided to break a new bed, digging and it was like a misty rain.

Went and filled my kettle and put it on the gas and it started.

Sat there looking at the sky, thinking "I'm sure the sky's lightening"

Oh it did but rained heavier.

Had to feed the Toms and peppers.

Cut up the waste into the compost bin, now I'm really wet.

Sat in the shed hoping it would clear, then realised I would have to get the car back up the hill.

                  Gave up and came home.

Bet it stops raining soon. Bums
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

It's my weekend off but sadly my body clock doesn't know it yet so still woke up 6am. Forced myself back to sleep till 7.30 am then got up and had breakfast and it was quite a nice morning. Managed to water things in greenhouse, sowed some more lettuce, did a bit of deadheading, hoeing and just raked over a bit of ground which I was going to put my cabbages in. Started to drizzle so went inside for a coffee. Of course the best of the rain was saved till I was out walking the dog, the heavens opened and we came back drenched. Still raining now, so will have to do something indoors. Sadly cleaning the bathroom is at the top of the list (unless I can't find some reason to put it off).

I was up until 3 this morning coughing; and finally went to sleep only to have to leave the house at 9:45 for my massage [rehab for the elbow]. Then had to take the OH to the footie, and his daughter to get a new xbox game; we went to nandos for lunch as by then I was so hungry...she only ate the chips of course. I wanted the chilli for my cough. We just got back and I am having licorice tea and then going back to bed.

Oh dash it she's gone, I was gonna say what time should we arrive for lunch, I'm feeling a bit peckish now. Would bring a loaf for the dunking into of soup.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
