SS thinks! - why you asking Cloud - you hate dogs??
I'm a bit wary replying for reasons pointed out by SS... I like most dogs but Cavalier King Charles Spaniels - especially our little Katie - are my fave.

A work colleague has a Chesapeake Bay Retriever - a gun dog/retriever with a rough reddish coat and a great temperament (spelling?). Her only drawback is a liking for eating disgusting things that she finds (the dog not the colleague)!

I must admit I have two dogs one Siberian Husky - Spirit,.
                    One Alaskan Malamute - Storm.

Spirit is 5 and Storm is 2. Out of the two Spirit is the easiest to control. Storm is a big handfull. She has a stubbern streak and will only do something if it benifits her. They are both very fussy.
I always wanted a Boarder Collie when I was little, but when we decided to get a dog we thought Huskys were cute so we had one. Then we thought Spirit would like a little company when we were out we found a Malamute.

My fave dog has to be border collie - I had six dogs when I was a shepherd many moons ago - 4 borders , 1 beardie and a Huntaway - Bess my first sheepdog was my best mate for twelve years.
I now have the irrespressible Charlie - a one year old Springer x Collie - daft as a brush, more energy than sense - but two days ago, he finally caught and killed (and also ate) his first rabbit. Now he knows what to do, I'm gonna train him to do the same to pheasants, crows, pigeons and jackdaws !!

I love German Shepherds, Whippets, Lurchers, Collies (esp Borders), Newfoundlands (we'd have one if I could afford one), Dalmations... I like most dogs, but I hate Jack Russells - never met a nice one, flippin ankle biters. Not fond of any of the little yappers to be honest

This is my dog Paddy (female, short for Padfoot)

The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.
