I thought I'd 'done' the sweepstake, but obviously not! I'm going to say 7th March, girl, 7 lbs 6.
Hope you're ok, I'm so excited for you!!! I think it's wonderful that you're calm - I was the same. My family were convinced that I just hadn't really thought it all through or something!I don't roll on Shabbos

Oh, oh, *puts hand up*, can I join in the sweepstake at this late date? Much as I want to put tomorrow, purely 'cos it's my little un's birthday (she'll be the grand age of 8 tomorrow, how did that time go so quickly?!), for practical reasons I won't, as I reckon it sounds as though you'll hang on for a bit longer yet! So, I go for:
Girl, 8lbs, born in the afternoon on 12th March (about 3ish).
Good luck, I am very envious, I could do it all again (nothing like a little ones birthday to get you all misty eyed and nostalgic... Now, I'm off to make 40 fairy cakes for her to take into school...)Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.

We just had our little boy 4 months ago. It's an unbelievable/unexplainable feeling when you see your baby for the first time when he or she is born. We had to wait though coz he had to be resuscitated and it was about 20 mins before I got to hold him, we actually saw a pic of him first because the recovery nurse took a picture first but actually seeing him properly was amazing.
The first three months... jeez! Up every 2 hours feeding at the start, colic, and now teething. It's really testing but his smiles and laugh make up for the stress!
Oh yeah: 7lbs 4 he was.Last edited by Naga; 04-03-2009, 12:28 PM.Follow my garden and chilli growing project... @impatientgrower

you have ages yet, it's gotta put loads of weight on to get to 10 lb lol
mine was due on 5th feb i knew the date i got pregnant, the hospital said he was due on 10th, and if i hadn't had him by then they were gonna induce me so on the 5th, i went out and was very bad and had a pint of lager and 2 pints of fresh orange juice, a curry on the way home and we got vigorously 'romantic' ..... 2 hours later my waters went

I was taken for a drive by a lunatic lassie from New Zealand It was enough to scare anyone into having kittens! I was in labour by the time we got home, having been nearly run into on a couple of roundabouts, and gone far too fast on some very windy roads... She didn't drive like that to make me start, she always drove like that
