Bestest BBQ ever!

We (the royal we...ie OH ) have just made a BBQ out of a steel drum a la Huge FW - we burned proper charcoal + wood from the garden & cooked a butterflied 1/2 leg of lamb as a tester for next weeks bash & it was the a) the best ever lamb I've eaten & b) the best BBQ I've ever used --

We're going to give sausage making a go this week, hopefully they'll be great on the BBQ.

I love nice marinades, really good home made burgers and potato salad with lots of snipped chives, yum!

I like anything that's bbq'd, but bestest of all when everybody's finished is bbq'd bananas with chocolate buttons pushed under the skin mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy

Ooooh Maureen, I do the same sort of thing. Slice a banana down the middle lengthwise then stuff it with marshmallows and sliced mars bars. I forgot about the sweet stuff.

BBQ'ed Fruit and Marshmallow kebabs! Dunked into choc sauce - I forgot the puds too!
