I did that last night. Turned it off before I went to work this morning .

However, I went for some retail therapy after work and on my way home there were two vivid rainbows (with other faint ones). They lasted the whole 20 minutes home .

Wish I'd had my camera with me!!

its terrible, got up this morning and the rain was dreadful, went on our trip to chessington and not a drop all day, so lucky, but it did feel like October, instead of August!

On Sunday, I got a sunburn on the back of my neck digging the bed for the cauliflowers. Today, there was a distinct Autumnal feel in the air as I dug up my potatoes. Now, I have a craving for spiced wine..

Rain here too but some sunshine as well. I went to the lottie and had to take cover in my shed a few times but managed to get some digging done. Also picked four large courgettes beetroot two red cabbages and two white ones.

It feels like autumn; and I've just taken my fuchsia and pelargonium cuttings for next year's hanging baskets. It rained all day y'day. This morning we have sun, so I'm off to the lotty pronto.

The wind and rain have played havoc with the garden. Yesterday lost large pieces of a dahlia to the wind, one sunflower snapped off near the base and on Sunday a large pink cosmos snapped off at the base too. Please make it stop before I lose all the beans as well....

Well, the good old BBC forecast said 'dry and clear' so of course it hammered down
Even now, the forecast is saying it should be dry, and it's still raining BBC - Weather Centre - 24 Hour in Celsius for Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom
