  • Parcel advice please...

Need a bit of advice please....
I have to return a heavy electric coffee maker to the manufacturers ( and pay the postage myself)
Problem is - I'm not quite sure what to do with it now it's all securely packaged!!!
My initial thought is to take it to the Post Office , hand it over and pay.
Would it be cheaper to use some other courier service- how to you drop off/pay etc, or do they collect???
Anyone recommend a company?? ( best to pm me on that one!)

It's probably worth £200 so I don't want to risk it going astray!

I think the easy option is the Post Office- but will I be paying over the odds????

We recently had something delivered from the UK by a courrier company. If memory serves (ha!!!) they have a minimum charge of around £18 and will collect from you. If I can entice Mr T down from his new scaffolding I will try to get the details for you!!!
Could you not perhaps return the machine to the shop for them to send back???
This page may give you an idea of the Royal Mail price though; http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/c...diaId=51000711
