    Can anyone settle an arguement can you use the peppermint oil you use for aromatheropy to make peppermint creams? Ive always used peppermint oil I bought at the chemist but they only have it labled for aromatheropy now and I want to know if its the same just labled different

    I am not sure I would use stuff labeled for aromatherapy. You can buy peppermint oil/flavouring in most supermarkets in the home baking section.

        Peppermint aromatherapy oil may well have been "pre-blended" and are usually marked "do not ingest".

        Peppermint essence is what is normally used in cooking.

          I bought my peppermint oil years ago when you had to buy it and glycerine at the chemist because the supermarkets didnt do it well if Im honest tescos didnt exist (oh Im soooooo old !!) so I bought it especially to cook with but my friend is convinced its OK to use the aromatheropy stuff but I thought it would have for food use on it but it only says external use only
