Very seriously, you're right about local shows, and they do need our support.
However, having not five minutes ago accidentally snapped one of your 118's re-arranging it in the damp teatowel in the fridge (!) and only having just completed my fiftieth Parmesan Pastry Case to envelope a rather gorgeous roasted tomato, basil & saffron custard tart my darling very this late, I've had it 'right up to there' with local shows, and please remind me never to take part in one for fun EVER again! No, that was a bit harsh.... 49 Pastry Cases.
I jest, obviously.... but one thing is for certain, if the Runner Bean I picked this evening (grown from the seeds you gave me as part of my Christmas Present) does not win the Longest Runner Bean Class, then there's no justice in this world, and only a slice of your Award Winning Marble Cake will make everything alright again........ said Trousers.
