Group buys

Not sure if it would work on here, but on another forum I'm a member of (car related) they often have "group buys" - a number of like-minded forum members require a certain part/service and one particular member can/will arrange a discount with a supplier if they can get a certain number of forum members to "sign up" to the deal.

Would it work on here do you think?

What would you suggest as a group buy?

I would have thougt the most obvious group buy would be seeds etc.

I've noticed T&M have this facility but do not know minumum purchase thresholds.

Clearly the person sending on the stuff would have to work out whether discount and postage would pay.

There are many Grapes who socialise in their local area so I would think it would be an ideal way to put in a bulk order and divide the spoils over a bottle or 2 of your fave tipple.
