  • Happy Sunday Grapes - and Happy Anniversary Madmax!!

Well, we made it to eighteen years of marriage today. Thank you for being so wonderful Madmax

Rubbish weather here so not even a home grown veg on the dinner table tonight. However, I did manage to make respberry jelly and that has been used to make a jam roly poly for dessert - looks okay, smells yummy and hope it tastes good since I burned myself making the jelly and the roly poly

Our best man (still a friend after all these years!) brought us a bottle of bubbly and a box of choccies! Just about to crack the bottle open to enjoy with dinner.

Thanks folks. Didn't mean this to be a self-congratulations thread - more of a Sunday gossip thingy really.

                  What's everyone been up to?

Congratulations on attaining you PORCELAIN wedding anniversery Shirl and MadMax (amazing the stuff you can find on the WWW.)

Is this the Sunday night chat thingy now? Just tried to light a bonfire to get rid of a huge mound of Autumn pruned branches that had dried out nicely, after it being hot and dry all day, it's now started to pour with rain. Decided to sample a few bottles of fiddlers elbow instead
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

Had a good Sunday here. Weather dry, had a dummy run with the caravan awning to make sure we know what we're doing with it when we go away next week.

Hey, happy anniversary you two love-birds

Just got home from Paris about half an hour ago. Youngest daughter is in the process of buying an apartment and we have been decorating it. Bloody hell, did we work hard

Whilst I've been away KK has been heroically tending to the garden and eating the sweetcorn - no idea what I'm going to do with all the beans and courgettes that he picked though.
