Jenny, is it REALLY that time again? How time flies! And may I enquire of the title of this years' Panto Performance that you're going to need fake tan for again?!?! (See All Girlies to the ready with make-up tips.....) Please do start a spesh proper thread on it so we can all follow progress pretty please??
And thank you for all your good wishes for The Aylburton Fruit'n'Veg Show today wot I took part in. It did go well, I must say, and whilst I'm going upstairs for 'a heads down' now before the Prize-Giving this evening, so no photos till my Blob update, I can tell you that Wellie won five First Prize Rosettes, and four Second Prize Rosettes.
And one of the Firsts was for THE LONGEST RUNNER BEAN my darling Hazel at The Hill.
WOOHOO!!!! (See Wellie jump up and down, clapping her hands like an overexcited child).
(See HAZEL jump up and down, clapping her hands like an overexcited child....)
Oh, and I won Best in Show on the Vegetable section, and Best in Show in the whole Show, evidently. Which way round it is I'm not sure, but Fert'n'Liza's Newborn (Freddie Flobalob - he is SO CUTE?!) and the Display Hamper of Vegetables was one, and the other was my Decorated Cake (with coloured-in Choccie Button!), which was a spoof front page of our local newspaper, which has a logo of GROW YOUR OWN in the top right hand corner, and their growfruitandveg.co.uk for people to visit and meet Fert'n'Liza for real..... and much much more kiddie winkies - but you'll have to wait for the photos because I must crash out now for an hour.
But before I do. I could have cried..... Monsieur Con Dubois (for those that are properly following the plot), has since commissioned me to make his 70th Birthday Cake next year, whether we're living in France or not. How cool is that?
But, you know why I did so well children? Trousers has just made me laugh my sox off - he was wearing a pair of my Lucky Pants. Men!........
