  • Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkk!!!!!!

picked up my birthday dishwasher yesterday, but we have a slight spacing/plumbing problem, the only plumbing is in the utility room, where the washer is, but that's fine as each only has one pipe, so temporarily the dishwasher will have to have a hot water fill till i can remove the radiator and put the cupboard there, and get them plumbed in next to the sink....... anyway, i also had to find a new home for the dryer, and the upright freezer ...... so we've had to errr kinda remove one of the cupboards in the kitchen ...... but that's ok, cos i need more worksurface, so the one from the utility room is going in there ....... basically i now have everything from the kitchen kind of everywhere ...... including all the cupboards and contents ....... who on earth had the bright idea i needed a dishwasher ???? better marry a plumber i guess ....... till i need a carpenter and a plasterer that is.

LMAO ...... oops shouldn't laugh, but if i didn't i'd probably cry ...... son has upset his G/F cos they were supposed to be going out ..... he texted her and said, i can't come, mum will cry if we leave the kitchen like this' ... she's not happy, hopefully she will come round and clean now .... just removed a wall cupboard, and the lazy plasterers didn't bother plastering all the new wiring in, they just put the cupboards over the holes ....... so now i might have to marry the plasterer first ...... and theres still really bad flowery wallpaper behind the cupboards too ..... i really hate it when people do half a flipping job ....... but at least i get to change the vienetta mint ice cream colour on the walls, i've hated it ever since i painted it.

i'm sure when the cupboards come, the delivery men will have fun surveying your knicker pile (just make sure you hide the grey holey ones at the bottom).

PMSL - oh no i will leave them on the top, together with my bra's which can host a family from the far east, you never know i may even get to camp in them in the garden, if they were waterproof!!

We have some lovely paper in the girls room, where a fitted wardrobe was! it was so lovely i think Laura Ashley may now nick the design and recommission it some 40 years later lol!

Cor can you have a row with the GF and then she will come and clean again! in fact if you really get to her, she may well plaster, paint & plumb and then you can just get your son to marry her lol!!

drawer?? but i thought drawers were for books, so you don't have them piled up in the corners of the bedroom? and handcuffs, and whips and chains and spare bedding .... aren't they?

your OCD is a bit excessive if you're putting the family in the dryer ...... thats what towels on the bathroom floor are for

Marry the plasterer Lynda. They are the most expensive and the one trade you can't DIY!
Usually I'm very organised, but having moved house this year, and waiting for work to be done on the house, I know where you are all coming from - drawers, bras, books, bills. It's all a blur, haze, too much. I'm dying here - never moving again.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

i moved in 3 1/2 years ago, and i still haven't finished unpacking (that's wot lofts are for innit )

*Puts ad in corner shop window for new hubby*

there is good news i decided to wash everything in the cupboards, so i can clean the cupboards too, so everything is in the dishwasher, and i haven't heard anything breaking yet, and so far the utility room isn't flooded ..... good innit, how did i ever live without a dishwasher??

everythings still a tip, but sons g/f is staying tonight, so i'll get her cleaning in the morning, when i've bought her a new mop and bucket (the current bucket has stagnant nettles in it, and i broke the mop head off)
