Hurrah! After a whole week (almost) since my luggage went missing in Nice, it's reappeared in Rome, via about 7 other countries! I'd given up hoping I'd see it again.
I wasn't overly bothered really about the clothes and make up etc. (relieved I took camera out at the last minute!) but in the front of the case, we'd stuffed our little baby's favourite bunny and teddy. I get a wee bit sentimental about things like that and felt sad that they were lost as we'd bought them before she was born.
And it seems bun and ted are on their way home! My, what stories they'll have...
Only slight concern in that I'd stuffed in a jar of salted anchovies, a huge bag of wild thyme I'd picked before leaving, and a tub of dried porcini. So, lovely new holiday clothes might well need a dry clean unless I'm happy to go around smelling like the beginnings of a boeuf bourguignon.
