So it was a singing night tonight. Who is up for the chorus?

Everyone liked the song from Annie tonight - Its a Hard Knock Life! I think it could describe my gardening!

Anyone come up with the panto yet. Can't cast it if I don't know what we are doing........

      How about
Snow White and the Seven Russets
Jack and the Bean (hmmmmmmmmm - not so sure about that one!)
      Alladin goes for Gold

I hope the chorus singing rehearsal went well tonight Jennie. I only sing in the bath, and you'll have to ask Trousers whether I'm any good or not, and don't expect a straight answer to that question....
Nicos - you're an angel in disguise.... Just how funny was that panto?! I've just re-read it and laughed my sox off.

Any New People recently joined the GYO Forum, if you like a good larf, and are willing to take part in this annual complete and utter FARSE, you should get a'practicing projecting your voice darling. This Panto, with Jennie's Theatricals Sweetie, is going to be an absolute 'Blinder' of A Giggle.

Okay... Now I'm living in The Forest of Dean (so you'll have to forgive me!) but How about A Panto called: "IT'S NO BLIGHT and THERE'S SEVERN BOARS".
(sorry, I can't stop laughing - I'll get me coat). Shoot me someone, I beg you!.....
To be honest, I don't think it matters what The GYO Panto is actually called, because given the spurious adlib script, the pulling rugs from beneath other 'actors' feet darling, it is the sheer adlib wit and uniqueness of everyone taking part that will make it the success that it is already bound to be. But I shall watch this thread with sheer glee anyway in anticipation of the starting pistol!
To be honest, it's going to be an absolute riot, whatever we do!

I seem to recall that there were about 100 different stories rolled into the one panto last year - including old fashioned pre-talkies tie the girl to the railway line stuff, plain ole skulduggery, and lots and lots of goodness and laughs.

Any any newbies should definitely join in - it's loadsa fun!!

I'll happily be the off-stage electirican putting in proper lighting for everyone - spots for the principals (what - the greasepaint is giving them spots?!), spooky green for the witches, macarbe red/pink for the evil sorcerers, sunshiney yellow for the children and fairies, magical blue for the wizards and plain ole high white for full chorus numbers!!

Count me in for the chorus - no promises on the quality but the enthusiasm is there!

When we were kids my sisters and I belonged to a group and we went around the local hospitals prisons etc, one night at the prison there was a powercut you should have heard the noise from the kids and the parents no one knew where anything was or where the kids were.
I then joined the local Black and White Minstrels that my sisters FIL started up but only cos I could have my face blacked as I didnt want anyone to recognise me.
