Anyone know the film Oliver?

Please can you help? I am looking for a print of a poster of the 1968 film to use as a backdrop for my flower festival window display in church. Any information to provide inspiration as to appropriate flowers or props would also be much appreciated. Can anyone remeber what is being sold in the song "Who will buy"? I seem to remember roses which would be a perfect flower to use as they will stand out against the white walls.

I have so far a tin plate and old spoon ready to fill with gloop to represent gruel. Various food mentioned in "Food glorious Food" I think sausages, mustard, jelly custard, peaches and cream will be easy to do.

If you G**8le under 'images' for 'oliver film posters' you'll find a selection there including the original 68 - you'll probably have to juggle with them for printing - not sure of position on copyright - so be careful.

Yey! I was right on the food in the FGF song! Just searched on "Who will buy" and its also milk and strawberries!

ooooooooooooh one of my fav films ever!

Who will buy has Milk, Roses, Strawberries - if you need me to look on the DVD Finedon then it will be an excuse to sing along again LOL!!

A worked with a chap a few years ago that was married to a nurse. She had ongoing probs with her back and her physio or chiropractor (can't remember which) was the blonde lad that played Oliver in the film.

yes his name was Mark Lester and he now has a normal life, even though he was a "friend" of michael jackson at some stage!!!

Yep but its really roses. and yes we have used it in many a panto and its normally my line - "Who will buy?" and I'm clutching a bunch of roses.
