It's Friday lunchtime and you're thinking about the weekend ahead. Cr*p isn't it? Am I on my own here? I'll be surprised if I am

My job's not the most exciting at the best of times and seeing as how in 2 month's time I'm going to be jobless (unless my old team who want me back can squeeze a bit more budget and headcount space in for me), I really can't be stuffed to do the work either. I won't be down the lottie tomorrow as I can barely bend over (maybe I should rephase that ) and if I'm better by Sunday it's due to be raining.

Me thinks a weekend of garden planning and seed planning / interwebby seed searching is in order


Oooo... and totally off track... before I get laughed at offering it on freecycle - is it worth me offering up our soil that was dug up when we had the pond built do you think? Though I'll be bagsying the wild spuds from the first ofcourse

theres often soil on our freecycle, i keep wishing i had some way to get it home, worth a go i reckon,

and yup i've got the friday feeling, am supposed to be on a train in 3/4 hour to go see OH but erm i really can't be bothered to sit on a train for 3 hours..... i do want to go, just i hate trains.

I am sitting here in much the same way. Trying to decide to be good and do some work, or be bold and get my Christmas planning file out and work on those plans for a couple of hours before collecting the toddler and getting some nice meat for a BBQ tonight (before the rain comes to us tomorrow - might get to plot for a quick harvest visit early in the morning).

Oh, just remembered, haven't talked to baby sis all week and need to warn her of bad traffic on her road home tonight (only back from Austria so won't even have considered it!!). That'll do for a few mins, and THEN I'll be bold and do the Christmas stuff he he he!!!!

DD loves books and I frequently find myself reading christmas stories throughout the year. feels really odd doing it in June and July though!

I don't have that friday feeling today, as monday was a bank holiday, and I'm working tomorrow so tomorrow will be my Friday.

Looking forward to my Friday night vindaloo.

Sat here having signed off a CPD presentation (it's going for voiceover and approval whilst I'm on holiday), I've sent another brochure to the printer, I've just finished proof reading and amending another, I've completed all the literature requests, amended a spreadsheet thingy wotsit to link various pages on our new website that's being put together - had a good old chat with the MD of our company in Holland, signed some invoices, looked at another pile of work and then out the window at where my car used to be parked....

Just finished a cup of redbush (rooibos) and I'm off home in just over half an hour. (it is poets day as bw has just pointed out).

Car shopping at the weekend - woohoo!
