  • A different type of flower

I'm so relieved, I've finished my brother's wedding cake. The wedding is on Saturday, so I put the whole cake together tonight to see that it looked OK. I am quite pleased with it. All the flowers are made from sugar paste, although the centre piece cannot be eaten as the flowers are all on wires. I don't do cakes professionally, only for friends and family, and this is only the second wedding cake!

Good grief; with talents like that you should be earning good money for making those. What a whizz!

Just looked at your blog and you are in Iwade: I spent many soggy days wandering around Iwade with a hammer and some wooden stakes marking out the position of the Iwade Bypass many many moons ago. AAH, those were the days!!!
