I've won a water butt (I think)

After bemoaning I didn't get a £10 voucher on Squashysu's thread "I have won a voucher!! Yah!!" and saying it was typical of my luck, OH rang me at the office today and asked if I had ordered a water butt as one had just been delivered.

Now I know I haven't ordered one but I am now the proud owner of a new 220L butt with a divertor kit.

I seem to remember that there was one on the giveaways so time ago but there was nothing inside to suggest that is what this is and I've received no Emails either.

But I don't care because it's all mine, mine I tell you.

Think I'll buy a Euromillions ticket this week.

I've won a couple of things off the giveaways this year.

It would be nice to have name in print and/or email to say what is on its way as the only note inside is a complements slip from the supplier - leaving one a little in doubt as to if its really yours or not.

Anyway - I'm sure you'll find a good use for the waterbutt - and well done!

Thanks for all the good wishes from you all.

I already have two butts and I'm committed to storing rain water for summer use (well not much of that this year)

I have been using the 4 pint milk containers from the supermarket and placing watering stations around my plots so that OH doesn't have to lug watering cans about.

So far I have over 100 bottles placed around, so that's 50 gallons, so with this new butt that gives me a present storage capacity of around 200 gallons and that will increase as long as I have milk with my coffee and the kids eat cereal.

Gives a little bit of an edge should we get a hoy summer (you remember those surely)
