  • Guilty pleasures?

Heard a song today on the radio, slightly cheesey and ended up singing at the top of my voice. Anyway it got me thinking and following on from others threads on music etc. so

what is your musical guilty pleasure, e.g a really cheesey song that gets you signing/dancing every time you hear it?

    Mine was

    Rednex - Cotton eye Joe
YouTube - Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe (2002 version)
    Kernow rag nevra

Some people feel the rain, others just get wet.
    Bob Dylan

            Lord where do I start???

Wham (I used to know George's Michael's sis but fell out of touch!)
            Early 80's Madonna
            Charles Aznavour (don't mock - he's a genius)
            Alison Moyet
Kids From Fame (me and my sis were OBSESSED with this. She loved Bruno; I had a girl crush on Miss Grant)

If I listed individual songs we'd be here all night but as a little taster, does anyone know The Captain of Her Heart (Double??? - don't know who sang it)?

Argh! My head is filling with hundreds of cheesey songs! And I love them all!
            I don't roll on Shabbos

YouTube - alison moyet - is this love

It was filmed at the Cornwall Coliseum and she was playing there that night, a mate and me spent hours in the freezing cold waiting for a glimpse of her and then she appeared on the roof being filmed - those where the days

Really really cheesy, but I just love that tenor Tino Rossi.
Something in the quality of that voice gives me goosebumps everytime.

All time favourite album is ELO - Time.

Yes, I do know it's all rubbish - but I love it.
