Well spotted Suzie - do scientists have a sense of humour or was it an accident with the date do you think?

....and nothing to work properly again.

Can I go back to my teens, try harder at school, pluck up the courage to ask Angela ********* out on a date, keep my chooks, don't move house to a modern flimsy box, stay in a lower paid job but with more free time for dogs, house, garden, photography etc and propose to my wife years earlier than I actually did.

            If only....

                • Reading all this, I'm beginning to think the best place to be tomorrow when it all goes off is . . . under my duvet!

Meanwhile. . . the same thing happened once on a planet far far away. A scientist said that according to his calculations, the planet would explode and the other scientists said he was being silly. As it so happens, he was right and they were wrong. It was the end of Krypton as we know it.

On the bright side, it was also the birth of Superman! Maybe there will be a silver lining to this one too . . .

PS You lot are a riot! Just sorry I found you only a few days before the end of life as we know it

CERN rap is fantastic. I can't believe I enjoyed it so much. Just off to play it again.

What happened to all the serious scientist dudes types in the Tefal ads?

This is cool science. My physics and chemistry lessons were never so enjoyable.

True - but I still need another 4 hours in every day to fit it all in.
