BTW what was special about this lens? (super tele-photo, Wide angle?)The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

i have reached a conclusion ..... as the OP is male, he hasn't really bought a new lens at all, he just wanted to hear what excuses all us girlies would come out with, so next time his OH says any of them, he can say .... 'no you didn't get it 3 years ago.... you bought it yesterday' ..... gosh, aren't men devious

Your OH will spot your porkies from a mile away. My hubby is like you cannot walk past Jessops without pressing his face against the window. Trust me on this one I noticed the new Sony alpha 350 he tried to sneak in the house You are in deep pooh pooh Women can tell when men are fibbing, but men can't tell when women are fibbing (not that we do!) Admit defeat!

Easy to blow the cover when women suddenly appear in something that's obviously new but "had this for ages", just say why are you wearing that old thing and watch the reaction, only for the brave though!I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.Comment
