Our allotment on the news - for the wrong reason

It is just dreadful what one human can do to another.

I am on the verge of getting an allottment that is sat between two branches of a local river. Walking home with the kids after school today I noticed a whopping great hole in the fencing. Have emailed lady at council and advised her to get onto parks dept asap to fix/inspect.

Speechless! I cant begin to think how I'd feel if that happened on my little piece of earth, my escape from stresses and so on .... much less how the lads family must be feeling. What is it with the world???
