WHAT is wrong with the WI? I work for them .

Actually, in theory, I agree with you, but if I had to put waterproofs on every time I walked from my office to the main house, I'd never get any work done.

I don't like conventional umbrellas. The 'see through' brolly-dome types are rather better, but I would rather put on my shower-proof jacket, and get wet hair and legs<g>

You are elegant and classy. *chokes* yeah right oooooookay lol

I'm with the brolly haters, though, the only ones i've ever owned have usually broken in 5 mins or been left on a bus or something ....... they are far too much hassle. and what do you do with them when they are wet, and it stops raining ?? I love black pvc, so i'd rather wear my mac, hat and thigh length boots

I HATE brollies, it annoys me hugely at school pick up time when everyone is trying to use a brolly in a confined space. (Don't mind me, I have PMT)

I use brollies in town - a large golf one, held high when there are folks around but covers me well on quiet walks through the Park on wet days. And folds up quickly into the car.

But out at home, I tend to use waterproofs (and especially if we are visitng the folks). I don't even wear legging most of the time - I don't mind getting my legs, hands even hair and reast of me wet, once I don't get wet on teh back of my neck (that just puts me in a bad mood) and I know there are some form of dry clothes to change into at the end of the rain. (And once they're dry, and warm on cold days, I don't much care what they look like and will borrow from anyone!).
