Still to harvest: sweetcorn, runner beans, french beans, green toms, cabbages, onions, second early potatoes

Growing well: all types of lettuce and salad bits, herbs, PSB, brussel sprouts, leeks and celery.

In the flower garden, lillies were looking good till the wind got them yesterday, and the tagetes in the polytunnel are fantastic! About 4 foot high!

Parsnips, Salsify, beetroot, carrots, psb, cabbage, french and runners still cropping, still lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies are turning red nicely, halfway through the sweetcorn - gorgeous. Squash finally growing - race against time now. Loads of herbs still.

Makes you feel better, listing what's still growing - I was just feeling down about the season being nearly over and yet, there's still loads going on!

Its a good feeling isn't it? Gardening is a GREAT TONIC.......

Felt even better when I saw a load of good wood dumped at the side of the road , straight away thought I must have that it will make a great veg bed for next year...you never switch off am I mad?
