I am in the middle of making Polly's apple and blacberry chutney and have got to the bit where it says to put through sieve but this makes it more like jam ie no bits, it says return to pan and add sugar is this just the juice or all of it.
Please help I'm desperate.

Sorry, Jackie we have been to a dog show today and have just got back, seen to dogs, fed grandsons and eventually looked on here. Have P.M.'d you anyway. Hope the chutney was o.k.
