  • I need a GYO buddy ...

i've struggled a bit this year with time and enthusiasm - i really could do with an allotment buddy to share the sowing, growing, picking, blanching, jam making, preserving etc etc etc etc

part of my problem is being a single parent - that generally means more work for me, less time for me, less freedom for me etc - that's kinda tiring sometimes - and the "having to do everything on my own" thing - just leaves me less than enthusiastic sometimes

my son is semi-keen on the growing thing - but he's 12, he wants to be out playing with his mates - and who can blame him?

    i need a buddy .......... a real life buddy .........
    any ideas ??

Have you still got that lady friend - any chance of her getting her hands dirty???

Otherwise, what about asking if there is anyone on the [allotment waiting] list waiting that would want to share one?
