In the pub potato compatition, (see a previous thread) I actually won one of the classes. Largest single potato, with an example wieghing 538g. My prize? A magnificent potato masher. (£2.00 from Wilko's)
Another guy won both biggest yield and largest number of potatoes with an incredible over 100 potatoes wieghing in at more than 14 kilos, all from just one seed potato. I'll have to try a lot harder next year
