Loo roll's; is it me or.................

Is it me or are the centre cardboardy bits in a loo roll getting larger? I know I'm sad but they are starting to drive me mad... let me explain;I have an open ended 'L' shaped holder and lately the loo roll keeps getting knocked off, when I had a look inside the middle looked huge, I don't remember them being so big

more likely to do with profit, think about it, everyone knows what size a loo roll looks like, on the outside!
increase the circumference of the cardboard bit, and you end up with less actual loo roll, but the same overall size.

T'is all profit my friend, same size roll, same price, less actual paper.

I think different brands of loo roll have different sizes centers! I have been saving a few to plant some seeds in for next year. I have at least 2 different sized cardbord bits
