I've only ever been slapped on the wrist once by another forum member who mistook me for a bloke being too familiar with one of the female forum members. All done in good faith though.

I can't believe this, I had to read twice to be sure I'd read it right. Since when are we expected to be on often enough to catch every thread and have time to reply to them!!

Just ignore any upsetting remarks Wellie, we all enjoy your funny & your serious comments on here. Some people just seem to take everything far too seriously, although possibly they came over stronger than they intended because it's difficult to convey exactly what you mean sometimes with just the written word (especially as some people haven't yet mastered the 'smiley' buttons so you don't know if they're having a laugh or not!). Take some deep breaths & ignore it, someone once upset me on here but I decided just to 'get over' it & carry on as the laughs & advice more than make up for it!

I took offence once because someone asked me if I was Yoda - due to my dreadful sentence structures...but then thought actually, if you are going to be accused of something, being called Yoda is a bit of a complement.
