Suzie I am so sorry for your loss.
Just try to remember you guys did the right thing for Charlie, he was well loved.
Wish I could give you a big hug and make it all go away.
Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.
however bad you feel, you know you did the right thing for Charlie, the hurt won't ever completely go, but being there for him at the end will have made him feel more secure as he went to the big kitty house in the sky.... remember the things he did that made you smile, and be thankful he 'chose you' as his parents
Oh My God, I'm so sorry Piskie, I haven't been around for the last day, it all seemed to be going so well.....
Huge huge hugs and love your way from me {{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}} XXXX

Suzie - I have followed Charlie's last few weeks with great sadness - unable to respond as what can you say that'll make it any better?
At least he is free from pain and discomfort now and as he looks down on his earthly mum and dad from the great cattery in the sky - he will be saying thankyou for a wonderful life and a peaceful exit. What more can we do for our beloved pets?
You may have other pets already - but if not - allow yourselves to mourn the loss of Charlie and if/when the time is right - I'm sure Charlie will steer a lucky new 'friend' into your lives to sit in his place in the sun.
My friends also had to have their cat put to sleep yesterday - which made the news all the more poignant.
