  • Over 1 Week Weather Forecasts

    Hello all

So I've recently moved teams (not my choice unfortunately, my old job is soon to be composted). I realise now how easy going my old boss was. I could turn up one day and ask for the next day off as holiday no probs.

In my new team I need to give 1 weeks notice though in terms of workload I can't see why.. but hey ho, it's the things work here.

But I used to take random clear days off to be down the lottie. How on earth am I going to second guess the weather in a weeks time at this time of year

I'm sure everyone else uses their holiday for sensible things like, god forbid, holiday but anyone else have to do this that could give me some hints on how they work out when'll be a good day off over a week away?

            Ditto Piskie...ditto.

I wish the BBC could get the next day's weather right...apparently on Saturday it was due to rain all day and of course we had - glorious sunshine.

this one is the one I use, it is as accurate as any I guess - I like the fact that it updates throughout the day

In spite of the science they back it up with, the weather is always really anyone's guess. Someone once said that if you were to forecast that tomorrow's weather will be the same as today's you'd be right as often as the Met Office! Doesn't help with long term though, sorry.
