Playschool are not very pleased with my son.

The staff have all been so supportive in helping me get to the stage where he is dry nearly all the time in the day now. There has been a couple of times the last week, when we have been out and the travel potty hasnt been to hand so I have taken to getting him to wee (discreetly) up a grass verge etc. I have made sure that I have praised him whenever he did so as he has always been fussy about using anything other than a potty or special training seat.

When I arrived to pick him up this afternoon I was informed that he had been good all morning, no accidents etc but this afternoon he had been terrible. "Then" she continued "He took his pants and trousers down and did a wee up the cabinet" Sorry but I couldnt help laughing - I was soooo embarased. "Well the teacher who saw him do it wasnt amused" I am ashamed to say I giggled even more, I was in stitches by the time I faced the teacher! I just about got it together to look sternly at said son who looked like butter wouldnt melt and who insisted he had been good when I asked him!

Kids do things like that. They think they understand, and they've just slightly got it wrong, in the most embarrassing way possible......... (and then again, sometimes they DO know, but think it will be a big joke to 'not get it').
Just wait until he asks you something at the top of his voice, maybe something like "Isn't that the silly old cow from down the road?" in the supermarket, when yes, you HAVE called her something of the kind under provocation......

This made me smile and I remember my brothers and their friends playing "Higher, higher, up the wall" to see who could pee the highest while we small girls stood and watched in admiration!
My sons and grandsons took ,and take ,great delight in peeing down the drain in the yard or up the fence!!

Reminds me of a story my mum told me once of my dad being a little worse for wear from the demon drink and peed in the wardrobe.... maybe boys will always do such things!?

reminds me of when rob weed in the potty, then tipped it down the sink ..... at nursery ..... when a horrified teacher asked him why he did that, he said well that's where my dad tips it ..... apparently dad was too lazy to pour it down the loo ...... i never even noticed.
