If I recall correctly, there was an episode of the simpsons, where Marge painted a picture of him, and asked for an autograph in return, and he found it 20 years later because thats how long it took him to answer all his fan mail, maybe he does have a point?

yeah... but to make his point in such a dramatic way, surely he could have just posted on his website. I think its only that he is such a famous person that he was 'allowed' the coverage. What else are they going to let him do? They're taking advantage of his mental decline, its rather immoral in my book.

Someone interviewed about it on the news said it was a shame he was acting like the rest of the Beatles. As 2 of them are dead, it seemed a bit harsh!

I think he might be at some stage of senile dementia or altzhimers, I've thought this about him before, a couple of years back..... Its a shame he couldn't be talked out of it by his doctors and management, surely they're supposed to be looking after his best interests - this just makes him look silly. Then again, perhaps they tried and he just wasn't having any of it.

The voice would fit that theory (or indeed being drunk). I thought it sounded a bit "Parkinson's"ish. There was defnitely something 'wrong' there, not just being anti-social. The idea of a 'cut off' ate is odd too.
