I watched it later on one of the other channels going to try the beetroot brownies as I pulled some up yesterday and I already have loads of pickled beetroot.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

Watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not just what is done and said that makes it interesting it's the enthusiasm. It may just be a TV persona (although I don't think so) but Hugh does come accross as a very caring sort of chap.It is the doom of man, that they forget.Comment

I must be a trivial psychic, because there I was with some over-large beetroots and thinking hmm shall I try a brownie-style recipe or a cake-type recipe... went for the cake in the end anyone want the recipe?
