other than that.....the light is coooool!!!.
I'm only doing one wall - the rest is staying brilliant white.

As to your polka dots ... you can use cheap acrylic artists paints (from The Works if you've got one). Cheaper than tester pots.
Not sure about energy saving bulbs - the head is a bulb - so unless they do one that size....

Like it HW! My son's bedroom at the moment is Spongebob Squarepants, soon to be changed according to him! I have painted waves on one wall complete with dolphin's leaping out and gradually building down to an under the sea scene. He has Spongebob's house on the other wall with a couple of characters running down the path plus a palm tree and beach scene complete with characters plus other things. I love painting though and making allsorts of things so don't mind. Will have to post some pictures of it if people are interested?

Soon though it won't be gardening, but your little one who will take over your life and you enjoy it. You'll be a fantastic Daddy and Mummy!

        I'm seeing spots!!!

As we stand I only have three more rows to paint - I have 12 mini rollers - but have to wash them all at once and then wait for them all to dry. Should have it done tomorrow night.

Also just need to sand and paint the now transformed set of drawers (converted into a changing table), and we're pretty much done on the decorating front.

If anyone's thinking of painting polka dots, it's harder than you might think - especially getting them all lined up, and making sure they're random.

LadyWayne likes it - hopefully Bean will be the same.

Oh, LW has done a great job on the curtains too!

HW that's fantastic! When mine were little we had a rainbow wall that their dad painted. It was great. Now my grandson is deciding what he would like. How the years go!! Enjoy every second of Bean, it goes so quick

Colours haven't come out particularly well - used my phone to take the piccie

And the changing table previously known as drawers are now finished.

Just waiting for the cot now.
