Neo is now relaxing under some sheets of newspaper ( one of his favourite hobbies) in the shade of this tree.

I love how it's also known as the Tramp apple- he looked like a tramp ( being long haired) when he got wet after a session outside

The tree is quite interesting as it's been double grafted.One at the base as we see in the UK - and then once again at 6ft, so we'll be able to sit under it at the table in nice weather. There was a grafting at about 8ft available too, but we thought that'd make picking a tad more tricky.
Hopefully by the Spring I'll have got round to learning how to post photos!!!

So as from today we'll be calling the apples Neopommes.

Strangely OK today..just get the odd desperate moment, but we're really pleased with the tree and are chuffed we'll be reminded of all the fun times we had with him- (a Peter Pan of the cat world).
It's a bit strange not having him attached to me as soon as I sit down or go to bed though.
I'm looking forward to the apples and just need to stay positive - thanks for asking
