I was taught to let the knife do the work, sawing to and fro aiming not to put too much downward pressure on the knife.
My aunt was my hero, she used to hold the bread in her arm and cut towards her (), but could cut the thinnest of slices without any holes.
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

I was rubbish when we first got our bread maker and looked at various options to assist. Never got around to buying anything but found that in the meantime, I'd learned how to do it OK. Just use a cheapo standard serrated bread knife on bread that's been out the maker about half an hour and don't have any problems. Keep with it, you'll get the hang of it.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
