      You seem to have a good mix there Happybunny, very similar to the ones I did except I did Physics not Home Ec. & did English as 2 subjects Literature & Language & no History. You should always choose subjects you're interested in as long as you make sure you've got the ones needed for your chosen career. If you're not sure discuss it with one of your favourite teachers who should point you in the right direction.

        When one of my sons couldnt get into the sixth form of the school he had attended since the age of eleven because his grades were not good enough they told him to do a P.E. course he hated P.E and hadnt done any for a couple of years how he managed that I dont know, then they suggested a child care course so he said no thanks I will learn all I want to know from my little baby sister if its all the same with you. They didnt give him any advice on what he wanted to do which was performing arts so he applied at south devon college and got in straight away.
