DD was in a particular Daddy's girl mood this evening & I was just not quite good enough!!!Refused to budge from her side 'til she told me she loved her mummy just an ickle tiny weeney bit...got the reply.."Oh Mummy,I love you a hundred twenty ten bits!"(O.K so tonight maybe Andi gets a hundred twenty ten plus one bits, but it still made me smile bless her!)

I smiled lots today when a friend emailed to say that following an op for testicular cancer and the subsequent scans etc he has been given the all-clear. Then my son phoned and asked if I wanted to go out for something to eat tonight as its his first payday after being unemployed for 6 months. It's been a good day all round

          Kayt; that's great news.

I'm smiling because I'm going to bed with a hot water bottle, and my OH has been in all evening and we've watched TV, and he's now watching the footie and he will be up in half an hour.

          Night all

            What made me smile:

My rather tall 5 year old son (4'2"/age 9-10 clothes) trying to have a tired cuddle up in my lap (I'm 5'2") after having a 4 hour runabout outside in the cold at a friends house...it was lovely - but one heck of a squeeze!

              I know it's Thursday, but I can't help it.

We officially are in the third trimester as of today, and LadyWayne just sent me an email that included this line:

"Not long until we get to meet little kicky bean!"

Even though it's cold outside (and in the office that I currently solely occupy), I feel warm inside.
