  • GYO Folders

I've built up a litle bit of a collection of GYO magazines now having been a subscriber for a bit, and they are all just piled up in the study.

Just looked at the GYO folder and considered buying one to keep them all tidy in one place, but eight quids is quite expensive no?

What do you do with your old GYO mags, how do you store yours?

i keep the previous 12 months in a couple of lever arch files - rescued from work then take the older ones to the lottie where we have a box for mags for people to borrow

I got a free folder when Madmax took out the subscription for me. I have filed all this year's issues in that and since it is so tidy I will either save for more or take out and replace with new ones.

I cut out useful articles and put them in one of those file books (with plastic wallets already fixed in) I do the same with receipes from magazines as well.

Folders should be free with a 12 month subscription - after all, if I've forked out over 40 quid upfront to the publishers, I don't want to be paying another £8 for what is - lets face it - only the equivelant of a 99p lever arch file from Wilko!

Bu@@er. I buy mine each month from the shops, so didn't qualify like shirl(ey), but if we're 'ganging up' here for a freebie folder for subscribers, count me in..!
Perhaps it would be an interesting Poll subject for you Heywayne Tall Guy?

I just leave mine lying around all over the cottage to annoy Trousers, like he does me with his French Property, French Living, and France magazines.
And I wonder why I can't keep the cottage tidy?!

I buy those flat-packed cardboard magazine box thingies from £-stretcher/Instore, cheap & cheerful, fit on a bookshelf and you can get the mags out without having to take down/open folder.
Like these LAURA ASHLEY *»*MORII MAGAZINE FILE but cheaper

Why not get some box-files? That way the mag is still protected, but not stressed in doc wallets and the like. You often see spare files on freecycle, or put a wanted ad up if you don't!
