Fingers crossed, Tricky - I don't want to be a pooper, but I would check with the Council and ask them for a WRITTEN confirmation that they will return things to you, and ideally in the state in which they took them from you!

go the telly ....... and all it took was a few comments of people who wanted the right thing done ...... shows that public pressure can make a huge difference

definitely, even if this is resoved, its still a story for them and for you, the power of public opinion, the help that local news can give, the fact that councils can no longer hide from national scrutiny

I imagine the council will not contact Tricky - and will probably send another faceless letter 'in due course' but at least they have seen the error of their ways.

I do love the tv people wanting to help out...I wonder if there is a gardener amongst them who felt like we did?
