      • well I am sure that the council were hoping it would just go away, lets face it most times it does because people think noone cares, in this case they picked on a person who actually belongs to a tightknit albiet somewhat spread out community.
this is why i suggest phoning the paper to see if there has been further comment from the council.
if we ring the council and we are not in their ward, why should they care, but the paper is in their ward, if the paper asks them for comment, they need to make one, and i doubt the paper though this many people would care either, let alone realise they were being read country wide suddenly, and are being watched for a result.

                WELL DONE!!!

all it will take is a few more phoning in to ask the same question, if we keep the comment pressure up, the paper will see that there are people out here interested in a further story, and the outcome.

                  • I've just phoned them and the lady was lovely, but it seemed as if she was starting to feel a little overwhelmed. She did say that she'd just had another call on similar lines. I'll gladly phone, email, petition and write to whoever Tricky asks. I'm not going to stop now until he gets his plot back.

                          • peeps seem to respond more to things of this nature in general chit,so my theory is maybe generate more support, what do our moderators think.

I left a msg too Tricky - I hope you get some response from the Council shortly.
hi, Winged One - I grow in the garden. I don't know of any allotment system in Cork.

I just realised you said you'd like to get back there sometime - well it is the Real Capital of Ireland!
