allotment taken away - conclusion (of sorts) post 668 onwards
cool, at least we know they got it lol.
see if you can find details for HFW as well and we can get on to him, after all he is running this landshare thingy.
sorting him out now ...... luckily i don't want to meet him behind the hay barn
I've sent a message to the admins regarding tricky's problem. Also sent them a link to the newspaper article and emphasisied that lots of Grapes would like to see the mag get on board!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
Get in touch with Bryn Pugh at the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners he may give you it sounds like a total cock up by the council nad they must be held accountable. the number you need is 01536 266576
hmmmmm i'm struggling with hugh ...... do you think i should send it under press ?? cos there isn't really a category on his website for this ...... it says if it isn't in one of these categories you won't get a reply??

it's ok i guess i got the answer
Can Hugh help with my campaign?
At the moment, Hugh and River Cottage are focusing heavily on our Chicken Out! campaign.
We respect and support others who are campaigning on similar issues, but unfortunately the time we have available for campaigning is taken up by Chicken Out! at the moment; as a result, we cannot participate in other campaigning activities at present. Thank you very much for thinking of us.
shame about HFW but... as he is running the landshare thingy, and we are not exactly campaigning, (well i have mislaid my pitchfork will look for it later) he may answer you never know if you don't ask.
and many thanx to seahorse too, a small peice in the mag would go a long way i am sure, in some ways this is not just about Tricky, its about ALL allotment owners who may have to suffer the same, and that is an issue we should all be concerned with.
Well done BridieX111, I could never put an argument so clearly! I'm sure I would have been rude and then thought about what I should have said too late!!
Here's hoping this campaign brings home the bacon for Tricky (and the veg box)!!

well i am in danger of exactly that when i get hot under the collar about something, I have learn't to walk away for ten minutes, re read, walk away again re-read then edit before hitting the send button.
doesn't always happen that way though
thats an interesting thought, after all the allotment was paid for so it counts as buying something.
what galls me most about this, is the fact that the council admitted the warning letter never got sent but expect Tricky to go to the bottom of the waiting list?, as if they are saying 'yeah we cocked up, so what, tough, get over it, our council worker deserves it more', beggers belief their attitude!
Well done you lot. I go out for the afternoon and the whole thing takes off. Loved Bride's response to the '80 responses from same person' jibe! I'm glad I'm not your enemy!
