Finally gone for it - number 92 me. Apologies for the delay, but I was afraid that all these posts from across the country would invalidate the comments, bit like signing a petition 'Micky Mouse'.

Now that this has been cleared up on the comments site, I am happy to put in my pennorth.

contact details for the newspaper itself: please bear in mind we don't want to jam the switchboard or harrass them in any way, but the occasional call to check on progress would not go amiss. what we are looking for is a commitment to do a follow up story or publish a comment from the council. I would think there is at least a side bar in the fact that the story has been read nationally.

Thrive - The Horticultural Charity - Using gardening to change lives Monty Don is heavily involved with them, and makes no secret that gardening helps him with his depression. Wouldn't suggest contacting Monty though as he's still recovering from his stroke
